After enduring a lengthy and intense cold snap, we finally broke free from our indoor hibernation and set out for an invigorating winter hike. Our destination: the stunning Chester Lake, which promised both adventure and spectacular views. This would be our second hike of 2025, and we couldn’t have picked a better day to explore the beauty of the mountains.

As we arrived at the trailhead, a sense of excitement filled the air. The weather was simply perfect – crisp, clear skies and a hint of sunshine breaking through the winter chill. The trail was nicely packed, making for an enjoyable walk where the snow still provided enough traction for our winter boots. We appreciated how the snow gently cushioned our steps, adding to the tranquillity of the hike.

Chester Lake is renowned for its breathtaking vistas, and it certainly did not disappoint. As we wandered along the trail, we found ourselves surrounded by majestic mountains in every direction. The video showcases the riders shredding their way through B-Line, the premier indoor bike park, and Millennium Skate Park. From flips to grinds, Darcy and Carson push the limits of what's possible on a bike. With perfectly executed tricks and impressive stunts, this video will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

The video was a true labor of love for everyone involved. Before filming began, the team spent countless hours planning out each shot and making sure everything was perfect. From scouting locations to coordinating with the riders, no detail was overlooked.

Once everything was in place, it was time to start filming. I used a sony A7iii and sigma 24-70 to capture every moment of the riders' incredible performances. 

After filming was complete, it was time to move on to post-production. The team worked tirelessly to edit the footage and create a final product that would truly showcase the riders' incredible skills. With expertly crafted transitions, the finished video is truly a work of art.
