Kelan is an absolute beast on a bike and a great human in general making it an absolute pleasure to work with him on the film "Live Pretty Fast Die Pretty Old". In this mini-documentary film, Kelan dives into what mountain biking means to him and what it is that drives him to go bigger sending massive jumps and going faster no matter what the terrain in front of him may be, even if that is one of the gnarlier gulliess on Moose Mountain on the legendary T-Dub waterfall section. When he isn't shredding on his bike Kelan sits as the Vice President of the Calgary-based nonprofit organization WoodridgeMTB Trail Support Foundation working to fund great causes within the MTB Community including Alberta trail associations Baseline Mountain Bike Club, Moose Mountain Bike Trail Society, and United Riders Of Crowsnest. The WoodridgeMTB Trail Support Foundation also helps out in the addiction recovery community doing great work with the the Alpha House in Calgary. Live Pretty Fast Die Pretty Old was a super fun film to create and I am definitely looking forward to making a lot more similar style films in the future.
